As you can probably tell I love to use products that are reusable and can reduce my impact on the environment. That is why I want to just take a moment here and discuss make up remover face wipes, not only can they be bad for your skin but also are no friend to the environment. Sure they seem efficient and easy after a night out or a long day at work, but they only remove surface dirt and make up and take a lot of pressure to remove mascara and other make up that are in delicate areas of the face. Or worse they get flushed down the toilet (for the record if you do this please please stop they are not meant to be flushed) They lead to blockages in our sewers and cause septic issues which then gets into costly fixes in order to rectify. Face wipes are actually just as bad as plastic water bottles remaining up to 500+ years on the planet.
